Good morning, MUSIC Sharing the last of the horrible tunes that aren’t so horrible. Thank you to Diane Cairns for her additions. Honestly, these short clips are worth the watch. They’re like tiny time capsules of days gone by, filled with awful clothes, kitschy filming, bizarre images, and terrifically awful lyrics.
Have we transitioned from ‘truly awful songs’ to ‘songs or groups we just don’t like’? You as moderator should hold the line here, and disallow answers like “any Styx or Foreigner” because it dilutes the fun goal, and makes the conversation uninteresting. I like the America song because if it’s pastoral vibe, and the seemingly banal or lazy lyrics play in nicely to what can be happening to one’s head after spending a while in the desert heat and intense sun.
