Today, we begin with wisdom provided by Tom Masenga: “Lord give me coffee to change the things I can change and wine to accept the things I can’t.” Happy Monday! REMEMBERING KENT STATE Thank you, Adam Torson, for reminding me that today is the 50th anniversary of the Kent State massacre. On May 4, 1970, after a week of protests at Kent State University in Ohio, National Guard troops opened fire on students protesting the recent U.S. bombing of Cambodia. After 67 rounds were fired by the troops, four students, all between 19 and 20 years of age, were dead, one student was paralyzed for life and numerous others were injured.
