#77 Musings Beyond the Bunker (Saturday July 3)
Good morning!
DAYS OF THE WEEK SONGS
I think the conclusion we can reach is that Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays are the most “sung about” days of the week. What is the justification? Well, Saturdays and Sundays are the weekend. Monday is a popular subject because, I suspect, it heads the week and speaks of beginnings and the promise of a new week. I’ve provided links to some classic videos of some of my favorites.

POETRY IN MUSIC
If the lyrics of the Moody Blues isn’t modern poetry, what is?
Tuesday afternoon
I'm just beginning to see
Now I'm on my way
It doesn't matter to me
Chasing the clouds away
Something calls to me
The trees are drawing me near
I've got to find out why
Those gentle voices I hear
Explain it all with a sigh
I'm looking at myself reflections of my mind
It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind
So gently swaying through the fairyland of love
If you'll just come with me you'll see the beauty of
Tuesday afternoon
Tuesday afternoon
Have a great weekend,
Glenn
