Good morning,
Saturday is for poetry and music!
MUSIC
It’s hard not to love Bolero, by Ravel. It’s short, familiar, starting so soft and building to a familiar crescendo. Here is a novel rendition, played for four cellists but utilizing only one cello:
POETRY
This poem, attributed to Mikko Hunter, was shared on Facebook by a long-lost friend from high school, Mark Brack. It started my day off on the right note and thought it might be inspirational to you, as well:
The number
of hours
we have
together is
actually not
so large.
Please linger
near the
door uncomfortably
instead of
just leaving.
Please forget
your scarf
in my
life and
come back
later for
it.
Have a great weekend,
Glenn
